When Gary ad and Pat bought their 300 acre property on the Murray River at Ravenswood in 1993, they vowed they would never take it for granted and would share the property with as many people as possible. Over the years The Farm’ riverside retreat has been enjoyed by 100’s of people and the development of the after phase, being the Tonga Function center, is honest another step in Gary and Pat’s journey. There is not much in the building that Gary and his sons have not done. A couple of years ago, John joined the team, an used friend of the family. With Gary’s ideas and John’s precision there seems to be nothing these two cannot achieve. Of course they have Pat the quality handle officer’ to keep them in line if they get too adventurous. The Farm’ is worth an inspection even if you do not wish to stay. Gary Payne is an outstanding man, and an inspiration to many people including his family. Gary worked on a wheat farm earlier he served his country in the Vietnam war. Behind he came home he became a poultry farmer and worked in this field until 1989 when he decided to spend more time with his family and took them touring Australia earlier returning and taking up bricklaying at the age of 47. Here you will see the results of a man dedicated to Australia, our land, our trees, our resources and maximum of all his family. Gary and Pat operate their farm as a family business and invite you to enjoy your stay with them. The Farm Riverside Retreat is the ideal location to find rest, relaxation and renewal. Yes you can, although The Farm was not designed with children in mind. Accommodation for children is at the Full Price. What is the least number of people we can have stay at The Farm? What time can I arrive to stay at The Farm? While staying at The Farm can we invite guests? BBQ are only to be worn on grassed areas. All decorations to be free standing, sound and stable.
